Project Description
There’s only one spaceship earth, and your mission is to help save it. That’s the goal of Earthshot™, a non-profit founded to inspire people to take an active role in combating climate change by offering a powerful, positive, cleantech message.
Traditional climate messaging isn’t sparking widespread engagement. A significant portion of the population remains unconvinced of human impact on climate change, while most of the rest feel overwhelmed and hopeless. Earthshot™ is shifting from merely discussing the perils of climate change to actively showcasing the exciting potential of cleantech to positively impact people’s lives.
Earthshot™ harnesses the Fortnite Universe to create a dynamic platform for showcasing clean technologies and sustainable practices, all while keeping intact the game’s intrinsic appeal. We combine the thrill of Fortnite with eco-friendly principles, maintaining its high-octane fun while highlighting the importance of a green future.
Earthshot™ and Climate Social approached Planet Media to redesign their website at earthshot.us.
Careful attention was paid by Planet Media to making the new website user-centric with a direct focus on designing a site that appeals to its target audience.
Our team’s experience allowed us to provide website design solutions that expertly communicate the mission that Earthshot™ stands for – resulting in a seamless brand, website, and marketing message.

Project Requirement
- To increase public awareness of their brand, organization, new Fortnite game, and Supercharged Graphic Novel as well as strengthen their position in the non- profit sector
- Their new web presence is an aesthetically pleasing, attention-getting website designed to promote Earthshot™ as a leading non-profit organization inspiring climate action by engaging people in activities that immerse them in a positive empowering cleantech message yet.
- Drive traffic, and engage donors in both corporate and the private sectors as well as target youth and gamers
- Improve your user experience and make information more accessible
- Designing their site to be “Mobile First”, as the name suggests, means that we started the product design from the mobile end which has more restrictions, then expanded its features to create a tablet or desktop version.
